Industrial Coconut Milk
Pressed from the grated meat of fully mature coconuts, our industrial coconut milk is a rich, versatile ingredient essential for commercial kitchens and food manufacturing. We offer two standard fat concentrations to suit different production requirements, ensuring consistent texture and flavor in your end product.
Standard Specifications
- Light (17% Fat): Ideal for beverages, light curries, and soups.
- Premium (24% Fat): Designed for ice cream bases, heavy sauces, and baked goods.
- Additives: Available with or without stabilizing gums (Guar/Xanthan) depending on your formulation needs.
Packaging & Storage
- Format: Aseptic bags in 20kg cartons / 200kg Steel Drums
- MOQ: 500 Liters
- Shelf Life: 18 months ambient (unopened). Refrigerate and use within 3 days after opening.
The Extraction Process
Unlike our coconut water, which uses young coconuts, our milk requires coconuts aged 10-12 months. We mechanically press the blanched, desiccated meat. The resulting liquid is then homogenized to prevent severe separation during transit. We maintain strict quality control to ensure microbiological safety without compromising the natural, creamy flavor.
Common Mistakes in Sourcing Coconut Milk
- Ignoring fat content variations: A 17% milk will perform drastically differently than a 24% milk in a freezing application (like ice cream). Always specify your required fat percentage.
- Failing to account for separation: Natural coconut milk separates. If you require a perfectly stable emulsion for a long-shelf-life RTD product, you must either homogenize heavily or accept stabilizers.
